Giles Photography & The Frame Works started in 1911 as Aanes Studio. Ben Aanes was the founder and photographer. In 1981 Tom purchased the studio and it became Giles-Aanes Photography Studio. When Tom received his Master of Photography degree from Professional Photographers of America in 1987, the name changed to Giles Photography. We later added The Frame Works to our name. Since 1987 Tom has earned his Photographic Craftsman degree and is a Certified Professional Photographer.

We take pride in the quality and creativity of our photography and framing. Tom thinks of himself as a historian as he captures a moment in time and preserves it for you on photographic paper. The studio also maintains all images you have ordered on file for a minimum of 10 years. We are her to help you for years after your portrait session.

The Giles name is on thousands of portraits throughout the Chippewa Valley, our state and around the country. My goal is to leave a living legacy of portraits for many, many decades to come. I want my portraits to be there for your grandchildren and great-grandchildren and beyond.
